Career Success for Bristol Film School Students

Students at Bristol Film School have already been offered jobs within the film and television industry – before they graduate.

Students of BA (Hons) Filmmaking: Production and BA (Hons) Filmmaking: Post Production degrees have been offered the following positions:

In Post Production roles: 

  • Sam King is employed as a compositor at Doghouse on the BBC's Andy's Global Adventures for the second year running.
  • Elise Warner-Deards has joined Gorilla Post Production as an Dailies Assistant on a high end Drama production.
  • Jude Hayman is working as a Runner at Picture Shop and was shortlisted for a role at the globally renowned Aardman Animations.
  • Jason Dutton is in discussions with Humblebee, where he will apply his post production skills within a top natural history production company. 
  • Kieran Walker and Eloise Lane have been combining their final year studies with working as Edit Assistants at P1 Productions, with the potential to move into full-time contracts based on their performance.

In Production Roles:

  • Lucy Wallis has joined VMI as an Camera Trainee Technician and will be managing and maintaining high-end film equipment.
  • Declan Ward is a Content Creator for Fighting Films, where he will produce engaging content focusing on the sport of judo.

Other students awaiting final decisions after interview:

  • Anna Richards is on the final shortlist stage for a position at CNN, with high hopes of joining the international news network.
  • Maddy Hayes was shortlisted for the role of Art Department Runner for a drama series at Netflix, a testament to her artistic skills.
  • Jacob Guyatt is being considered for a Trainee Assistant Spark role on a feature film, which would mark a significant step in his technical career in film production.
  • Katie Boyes Has been confirmed as a Production Runner on one of this year's prestigious Uncertain Kingdom films.
