Profile

Sam Curtis is an expert 3D modeller and texture artist who specialises in the high-to-low asset pipeline (incl. modelling, UVs, baking, texturing, integration) and environment art. His passion lies in visualising optimised game assets that go beyond a digital object to become an authentic artefact, through an emphasis on telling its story through attention to detail and careful texture work. Sam was awarded a Masters degree in Game Art from the University of Hertfordshire, and released an indie game as an undergraduate student at Falmouth University. Sam strives for mastery of his craft and is always seeking for new ways to teach the latest techniques used in the industry.
