Lee is Deputy Dean for degrees at boomsatsuma.
He is an experienced higher education leader, game designer, and creative technolgist. A fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Lee has been shaping undergraduate and postgraduate courses for nearly a decade - including several years as head of Creative Computing at Bath Spa University where he built the department from the ground up. He is committed to supporting talent development in the Creative Industries and preparing young people for the creative tech careers of tomorrow.
Lee's background and work spans game design, digital performance, audio production and web creativity. With a PhD in interactive online opera, his work explores new ways of using technology to tell stories that engage and inspire audiences.
Lee is Co-Director of Echo Games - a community interest company that makes 'seriously fun' games for learning and social change. Recent commissions include games on environmental conservation (National Geographic), CRISPR gene editing (Gurdon Institute), CAR T Cell therapy (Great Ormond Street Hospital) and sustainable fashion (Future Fashion Factory). His work with Echo Games and other artists has been exhibited in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Canada and Taiwan.
Lee is regularly engaged to create bespoke project websites for museums, theatre companies, creative studios and not-for-profits. This website was also designed and developed by Lee.
